The Austrian Prefabricated House Association (ÖFV) was founded in 1979 and has since successfully established itself as an independent quality association in the prefabricated house industry. VARIO-HAUS has always been a committed member of the Austrian Association of Prefabricated Houses (ÖFV) and is also represented on the board of directors by the VARIO-HAUS managing director and founder Ing. Josef Gruber.
Only suppliers who fulfil all quality standards (e.g. ÖNORM B2310) and requirements are accepted into the association. Numerous suppliers as industry partners stand for brand quality right down to the individual parts.
Quality mark for prefabricated houses
The members of the Austrian Prefabricated House Association are regularly - twice a year - inspected by independent inspection bodies accredited for this purpose. Not only the materials used, wood moisture and processing are checked, but even the penetration depth of the nails used. Both in the factory and on the construction site - until the end of the construction period. Only if the inspection commission gives its approval after reviewing the reports is a company allowed to use the "Quality Mark Prefabricated House" and the Austria Quality Mark.
Quality assurance is achieved through external inspections. This complex process ensures maximum security on the customer side.

The Ombudsman's Office for Prefabricated Houses is an independent institution that is available for all questions and concerns regarding prefabricated houses. The team consisting of a mediator according to the Civil Law Mediation Act, a legal advisor and a technician sees itself as a neutral authority whose task is not to represent the interests of one of the conflicting parties, but to provide neutral information or, if necessary, non-partisan mediation and advice in a conflict situation.
