Fulfil building regulations
Building regulations and directives can vary from region to region and even district to district. They demand a precise knowledge of the construction law provisions and therefore, should you already possess a plot of land, we will be pleased to determine what type of house you will be allowed to build upon it.
Use grants to the full
Our building advisors also have detailed know-how with regard to the regional regulations relating to the topic of grants. All VARIO-HAUS homes comply with the lowest energy index level and thus offer the ideal prerequisites for the full use of the various types of funding available.
A foundation that you can build on
As the general contractor for your project, VARIO-HAUS offers “master-builder foundations” for your house. This means that you can avoid interface problems and top quality is guaranteed from the greenfield phase to the finished VARIO-HAUS home. You can select from a thermo-ferroconcrete foundation slab, utility or waterproof concrete basement and VARIO-HAUS does the rest.
Free, individual home planning with complete control
Our building advisors continue to optimise the house plans until you are entirely satisfied. At any point during the process, the advisor can tell you what services are linked to which costs. This means that you have complete control.
If required, during the planning phase you can receive an energy certificate calculation free of charge. As a result, even before the contract signing you can complete a thorough check to see if the selected architecture and fittings will allow an application for governmental funding, or if additional measures must be implemented. Consulting and planning are basically free and subsequently flow into detailed planning including the house layout and 3D views. Only in the case of extensive planning do we retain the right to request you to contribute to the resultant costs, which in the case of a house purchase from VARIO-HAUS will be returned. Should such a situation arise we provide clear information.
Quotation and purchasing contract
On the basis of the detailed planning, we prepare a binding quotation. In line with absolute cost transparency, this takes into account every single construction component, every aspect of the fittings and logically any special wishes.
Following your consent, the purchasing contract is then drawn up and signed. Congratulations, you are now a homeowner!
Building permission and sampling
Submitted plans and building permission
The preparation of the plans to be submitted for your house takes into account the building regulations of both the region and the local district. In order that you can move into your new VARIO-HAUS home as soon as possible, we support you during contacts with the authorities and neighbours. As a consequence of our more than thirty years of experience and knowledge of all the building statutes, as a rule building permission is granted quickly. Should you so require, our construction manager is pleased to attend the building negotiations.
Fittings details are determined during sampling
Once the purchasing contract has been signed; we invite you to visit our sampling centre. Depending on the selected construction stage, here all the details regarding the fixtures and fittings for your home are discussed jointly and then determined. A VARIO-HAUS technical advisor is constantly available during this process.
Computerised, state-of-the-art production plant guarantees millimetre-exact precision and hence the extremely high quality of all the building components. The precise fit of all the doors and windows and the waterproofing of the structural shell are secured by the professional processing in top Austrian quality provided by our workforce. You can convince yourself of this fact on the spot, by witnessing the completion of a new house at our plant in Wiener Neustadt.

Assembly, interior construction, handover
Rainproof on the very first day
On the day agreed for assembly, the components for your prefabricated house are delivered to your building site by truck and then unloaded with the help of its integrated crane. The VARIO-HAUS team then assembles your finished home within just a few hours. Every building element has been precisely produced and finished at the VARIO-HAUS plant and this ensures quick and exact working on site. All of which adds up to just a brief wait for your new home.
The outer and inner walls are installed on the basement ceiling, or the foundation slab and then anchored. The ceilings and the roof then follow. A maufactured house from VARIO-HAUS is rainproof on the very first day.
Our professional partners supply the interior fittings
Our selected partners gradually supply the interior fittings in line with the selected construction stage. Your personal VARIO-HAUS construction manager is also constantly present during this phase in order to coordinate and control the work on site.
